Glowsticks - So You Think You Can Dance

This is more my blog than a publication. So I'm not always going to write about either gaming or beauty. Those are two of my biggest loves, but I do have one thing that I love just as much, perhaps even more; I love to perform. I love to act, and I love to dance. I really, really love to dance. It is an art form, and I love art; you get to act when you dance, you get to pour out your heart and soul all over the stage. You even get to wear costumes and make up. Make it choreography inspired by video games and I would be in heaven.

I've been watching So You Think You Can Dance for about 5 or 6 years, ever since they started showing it on LivingTV. When they stopped showing it over here I started watching it online, and when they brought it over here I was overjoyed. I am under no illusions, I do not have what it takes to compete; I weigh 20 stone and no partner could lift me, and I would probably injure myself from the strain. If I dropped 10 stone, maybe I'd be in with a chance, and by the time that happens I'll likely be too old to do it. Don't get me wrong, I am a good dancer, and I had the grades to prove it. Even as a big dancer. Perhaps not quite as acrobatic as the ones on SYTYCD.

So I'm not trying to get on to it, but I love to watch it. Season 2 (UK) is finally started, and the auditions recap is over, the top 20 revealed, and the live shows are about to start. Watch it on Saturday evenings on BBC1.
